Remember I talked about a clotty mess in my previous posting? That refers to the Jasmine soap I did last night which in fact turned out to look quite nice after all. It has a delicious Jasmine scent and the ultimate handmade look. It didn’t set properly in the mould so we had to melt it down again and added some additional lye. The separate layers are because the soap set far too quick for us to pour – hence the two-tone experience. I have decided to call this a win nonetheless. Meet “frothy Jasmine.” 🙂 It’s going to be the perfect present for my mum and my aunties.
P.S. Yes, I am a bit late taking the Christmas decoration down. I have decided to be the rebel in our estate leaving the lights up for at least another week!
